Benebone Bacon Flavored Wishbone Chew Toy

Benebone Real Flavor Wishbone Chew Toy, Made in USA, Medium, Real Bacon Flavor

  • Dog-Friendly Design - Last time we checked, dogs don't have thumbs. Our wishbone chew is cleverly designed so your pup can get a good chew going.
  • Real Flavor - We use only 100% real food ingredients for irresistible flavor and scent. We fuse 100% USA-sourced REAL BACON all the way through the chew. Dogs can tell the difference.
  • Made in the USA - We are fully committed to Made in USA, including packaging, tooling, and all material and ingredient sourcing. We proudly manufacture our products in New York.
  • Dog Welfare - We are fully committed to the welfare of dogs through product donations and community involvement.
  • Safety First - Benebones are not edible. Supervise closely and discard/replace when appropriate.

At Benebone, we started with the premise that dogs experience scent and flavor in a way we can’t even grasp. So, we ditched the neon colors and loud squeaks. Inspired by the dog’s powerful sense of smell, we developed a long-lasting durable chew that’s jam-packed with real flavor. Once your dog takes a bite of our USA-made chews, he’ll be hooked.

Instructions for Use and Safety Information:

While recognizing that weight limit is a rough guide, our small products are for dogs under 30 lbs, our medium products are for dogs under 60 lbs, and our large products are for dogs under 90 lbs. Always choose the largest size your dog can handle.

Benebone nylon chew toys carry risk. They are for dogs only and are not to be eaten. Chewing should always be supervised. Discard after reasonable wear. Benebones may cause an allergic reaction in humans or animals that are allergic to one or more components, such as nylon, peanuts, chicken or pork. For more information, see benebone.com/safety.

JW Pet Company Mini Hol-ee Roller Dog Toy, Colors Vary

  • Fun, high bounce
  • Made of durable rubber

We studied the shape of a carbon molecule, its similarity to the geodesic dome and imagined that as a totally out-of-this-earth, fun dog toy. And we invented the popular Hol-ee Roller. It’s a stretchy, virtually indestructible fetch, chew, tug and treat toy.

I have a 1 yr old GSD/Black Lab mix and a 10 month old pure GSD. Until a couple of months ago when I bought 2 of these bones my dogs were only interested in deer antlers. They have a wide variety of Nylabones which they will chew on a little and have never really taken an interest to the Kong toys. Although the antlers are good chew toys they are also quite expensive. When we first got the Benebones it didn’t look like they were going to take to them, but now I found myself back online buying 2 more after they wore down the knobs on the old ones. This has become their favorite chew toy and I have frequent tug of war episodes when they can only find one. It looks like I’m going to be a regular customer.

It’s both of my dog’s favorite bone! Anytime I pick it up and give it to them they get super excited. They don’t normally play with something very long, but this is the exception. When there’s other toys around, they grab this one first. Going to order another one!

Update- 9-2015: We have ordered many more. Dogs love these. We call them “crack bones” because they’re obsessed!

Much flimsier now than it used to be, February 18, 2013

I bought one of these last year at a pet store and it was amazingly sturdy. It survived hundreds of hours of intense chewing by my terrier. Finally he destroyed it, and we immediately bought this replacement on Amazon. But *it wasn’t the same thing*. It was the same shape and color and brand name, but much much flimsier. Just looking at it, we could see how the rubber was thinner and stretchier. And indeed, our terrier tore it apart easily, within 10 minutes.

Investigating further, I went to a pet store and saw on the rack both the hardy and the flimsy kind of ball, with exactly the same price and SKU. My guess is that the company has just recently switched to a cheaper manufacturer that makes the flimsy balls, and I was seeing the last of the old hardy balls.

Here’s a trick: With the hardy kind, one of the hexagons is not a hole but filled-in, with “jw” written on it. With the flimsy kind, all the hexagons are cut out the same.

Anyway, if you see that the reviews seem to be “love-it-or-hate-it”, this is why: Some customers got a totally different product than others did. Mine was the flimsy kind. The customer reviews lead me to believe that everybody is getting the flimsy kind these days.

Hudson (15m corgi) loves his Hol-ee Rollers. He has several in all different sizes and colors. They are easy for him to catch and carry around. He even tosses it to himself. They are light and easy to throw and won’t hurt his teeth or mouth. Five paws!
