These small lanterns are very compact and work well. The Kovea LPG adaptor makes a nice addition allowing you to use this with propane.

It was small but I was not sure what should I call this. Lantern, Heater or Stove? It get really hot, some flame come up to top of it. Yes, I put mantel Right! The adapter has NOT stopping pin in the middle of it, which means you have to connect this adapter to lantern first then connect to long butane canister. Flame adjustment make almost no differents. Either on or off. Almost… Return it next day.

I suppose it ranks a 5 star but the ding is for the price. I see everywhere the same style pan that holds the same just not as deep for less than 1/2 the price. Are pots that much more labor intensive to produce? Does a lid warrant a $30 price? I just don’t get it.

I also wish it was part of a nesting set with a similar sized pan. There are similar but not with a small pan that fits.

Otherwise it’s a great. albeit over priced pot. I really searched and looked quite a few and this seems the best balance of size, weight, non-stick (for the most part) durable there is. I have used it in the field to cook over 40 meals and it’s still brand new.

NOT made in china = a good thing!

I bought this for my trek on the John Muir Trail last year. It ended up being the groups preferred pot to boil water in because it’s so fast. The wide bottom helps with this. Also very stable on the MSR pocket rocket stove we used. Durability has been great, I look forward to good results with this unit for years to come.
